We have successfully built and are now operating a Cable Car project at Karni Mata Temple, Udaipur for the last 16 Years. In the sun kissed Arravali Hills, on top of scenic Dudh Talai and Pichola Lake, is situated Rajasthan's first cable car - Manshapurn Karni Mata Ropeway.
The cable car will take you from one hill to another higher hill (Called the Macchla Hill), where The Manshapurn Karni Mata Temple and Ekligarh Fort are situated. You will cross a whole valley in comfortable European Style Panoramic view Gondolas to reach on top of Udaipur City Landscape, where you will witness heart melting sunsets and the beauty of The Venice of East - Udaipur.
From the top you will see the Aravali ranges that hides the city, its sun kissed lakes, The Royal City Palace, World's most exotic heritage hotel – The Taj Lake Palace, The Sajjangarh Fort and the romantically beautiful city landscape. It's a view that will stay with you forever.
Karni Mata Temple is situated on the top of the Machla Magra Hills near Dudh Talai.
The ropeway ride will take you to the top of the hill from where you can walk up to the Temple. The walk is pollution free as no vehicles are allowed in the Machla hill boundary and the view is spectacular. It enshrines the stone idol of Karni Mata.
Mata Karni is considered as the incarnation of warrior goddess Durga and she is the deity of Royal Families and Rajput Warriors because of her status of a Hindu Warrior Sage.
Ekling Garh Fort was the armory of the Mewar Kingdom. One can have a panoramic view of the city from this strategic location. Dominating warfare was relatively easy from this fort when enemies laid siege on the kingdom of Mewar. One can still find cannons in the fort which were used to destroy enemy forces.
One of the famous cannons called “Jagat Shobha” is still there and is literally worshipped by the locals. Jagat Shobha was such a powerful cannon that when triggered the explosive propellants, its sound would echo throughout the region of Mewar leaving the enemy trembling.
Another legendary cannon is called the “Shatru Dhwans” or “Enemy Killer” which could wreck havoc up to 125 kilometers, is also mounted in this Legendary Fort of Mewar.
